Does anyone know if and who I should report to because my bike was stolen on campus. I had parked and locked it at the bike rack outside the concourse.. and when I went to get it that night it was gone...
    Suggestions?

    Gardaí
    This.

Also, is there any CCTV cameras around where you parked the bike? I'd imagine there are as these is plenty of them about. If so then you might as well get onto the college aswell, it would be able to help out the Gardaí if anything.

Go to security to check for cctv footage if there is any, but they're entirely useless otherwise because they can't do anything about it.

It's a criminal matter, go report it stolen with the gardaí

Hi just wondering what sort of bike it is and what sort of lock? asking because I lock my bike with a rather poor U-lock and if there's people floating around with the knowledge of the tricks to quickly break them I'l probably have to change/get additional lock*

    * the cycling forum people will inform you about good locks, but remember they tend to be cycling 400 euro + bikes so for them it makes sense to spend 60 euro on a lock, as some one cycling an 80 quid bike this advice tends to be redundant.

Keep an eye out for it in the pawn shops in town. My bike was stolen a few weeks ago and I just happened to spot it in one of the pawn shops whilst I was in browsing.
