Hi guys, it's been a while since I've done any camping etc but the kids are of an age now that I think I'll bring them with me when the Spring rolls around. Question is are there any shops that have a good selection of outdoor type equipment. Have the basics but now looking for things firesteel etc. They sell that kind of stuff in army bargains I know but was wondering if there are any other shops in Dublin out there as I think they may be a little pricey. I've checked out Amazon but they don't always deliver to Eire.

Capel camping and the Outdoor adventure store has some but pricy so your best bet would probably be eBay, that's where I got all my bits and bobs :) hope this somewhat helped

Try O'Meara camping on the crumlin road . It's just after Crumlin Shopping center on the right as your coming out of town. They have a good supply of camping equipment such as gas stoves/cylinders, and other stuff. Worth a look if nothing else.

I bought a couple of things from Capel Camping & they gave me a discount plus chucked in a few other items. I def recommend them. Very informative & helpful

Trespass gear is decent enough, but I'd never buy it in a Trespass store here in Ireland. I saw a fleece I liked in the Dún Laoghaire store for €35 and then saw it on Amazon for £9, so if you see something you like there, it's definitely worth a Google.
