bmw e46 00' prblems

hi guys. just wondering if anybody owns any bmw e46 diesel. mine is a 00 one 2l.
im having a problem with the steering wheel.it vibrates when im drivin around 50 ro 60 mph. if anybody had the same problem i'd appreciate the reply. thanks

`im having 2 problems in my car bmw e46 320d 2000yr.
first is the steering wheel that shakes or vibrates when im accelerating 50-60 mph.
and the second problem is the drivers door doesnt show up on the display when its open, doesnt make that sound when u turn ur car off and open the door to leave but the lights are still on, doesnt turn the light on when u open the door to get in, doest open by key manually and the speakers of the right hand side dont work. but the window works and the door can be locked by remote. im so confuse.
can anybody help please??

Steering wheel issue is wheel balancing I would think, check the door switch for a start with the rest along with fuses.

Would agree with James, get the wheels balanced.

Also check the tyres for deformity's etc, I previously had an oldish pair that would vibrate similarly to your description and it was just that the tyres were Fubar.

For the lights not coming on when the door is opened, did you try the button in front of the rear view mirror?
It may be set to the wrong setting.

Failing that it sounds like a door switch as mentioned.

Not necessarily. It may only occur between certain speeds as you described, or above a certain speed.

Just curious, would these be a chinese brand of tyre?

From your last post its definately a door switch gone in drivers side if the others work.

If its at a certain speed range its almost certainly a wheel balance issue.

not sure about the brand.
ill open the door panel tmrw and try to see whats wrong with the swithch

i think its a 5er p/wheel to align so its worth trying that.
