    Hi,

    First time I-phone user here,

Just wondering why the same photos that take up 1.47GB on my ipod touch now take up approx 4GB on my new iphone 4S?

Anyone any ideas why this is the case? Is it to do with the better resolution or something? I have close to 5,000 photos in various albums.

    Thanks

Have you Photostream turned on ? That seems to create another folder with a duplicate of any photo from the last 30 days (afaik)

No...I don't have photo stream turned on, and that is what is confusing me...it's strange that the same photos take up different memories on different devices...
