whether it it or isn't you are going to see more and more of it as lads get fed up with the way things are going and realise they have to pay to do what they want to do , from the landowners point of view it brings in a few bob&they know who is on the land
if you look at the uk most of the land that is shot over is paid for either by syndicates or individuals like it or not the writing is on the wall

I see where your coming from Landkeeper I honestly do and im not going to get into all this again and I do understand and maybe if i did'nt have kids, rent, bills to pay and had enough dosh to pay out for new lands whom someone shot on for years would I care for that person I dont really no ? But I do no if a farmer came to me someday and said I couldnt shoot his lands no more as someone bought sole rights of it id be a sad fella. Its how the shooting game is turning out slowly. I hope this sport is enjoyed by all shooting/stalking men and not just for the high earner's in the future

Here you go, if you have a barren piece of bog in the middle of nowhere with nothing but grey crows and magpies on it there's your chance to make a few quid out of it without having to break your back footing the turf:D.

I suppose heed pay enough. I just think as bad as the country is even now the huntsman and farmer who have been friends for so long money will and will someday break that bond. Hope its not for a long time yet tho it seems to be growing like a cancer. Plenty a guy's backing it all the same.

funny add has nto beenr emoved as donedeal do not allow hunting etc adverts that involve shooting last time chatted with them

but i see it now lot at home. lads with or with out license or permission are slaughtering deer, lamping deer at night and are killing off other animals by accident. few top end horses and cattle have beenkilled as taught were a horse, old wonam has bullet fly in window as well.

lot of wreckless shooting. but lot hotels etc are now paying for deer, think one lad paying 100e per deer and is seeling it on a huge markup to wholesaleprovider. this is ok but what has done is lads are trying get handy moneya re have really hit one areas population of deer in west limercik hard.

that and demand for the STAGS HEAD for the Munster emblem has meant lot stags getting killd for the trophy icon nothign else

If the farmer wants to charge for shooting rights and your willing to pay then not much can be said. If I had the money and was offered good shooting I would pay, same way people pay to be a member of a GC to shoot over their grounds/lets.

I wonder if the renting or leasing of shooting rights does not have certain liabilities attached for the landowner.

What goes on in the uk isn't always better or more progressive than Ireland. We moved away from large estates owned by a landed gentry that didn't farm the land.
