    If she's paying that much to Voda, then she should be able to get her current phone unlocked for free by Voda. If its bunched, Tesco carry a range of sim-free phones that might be suitable.

    thanks kristopherus - how would she go about unlocking her phone, call vodafone customer service and ask for an unlock code? her old phone is in bad way but may get her to xmas at least!
