Im buying a house thats partly finished,i have a partially certificate of compliance from the sellers engineer that says the velux windows at the back of the house (bedrooms) are too high from the floor, the bottom of the window is 1300mm from the floor it should be between 800mm and 1100mm.The rooms are dual aspect the other winow height is ok.
The question is, will this pass the regs or will i need to get the seller to lower the windows?

Have the property checked out yourself.

The problem is if there is a fire at the front of the house, it would be difficult for people to escape from those rooms.
