I for one am glad to be watching rugby back on Sky again. I've gotten tired of the RTE analysis. Only so much of Tom mcGurks stupid questions whose sole aim is to get a reaction from George I can take. I think Sky have a great team of analysts and love their Frontline feature. Their analysis is smart, honest and informative.

As we near the end of the first Heineken Cup has anyone else missed Simon Lazenby on Sky Sports? I think he's an excellent presenter for the rugby.

The guy presenting this weekend reminds of a Thunderbirds character, although I can't see the strings.

Alan Quinlan is their best guy. He seems to be the only one who knows what he's talking about. As much as I disliked him as a player (though I remember him scoring the winning try against the Argies in 2003) he's an excellent analyst and commentator, they need to get him more involved.

Strange. I was pondering the very same question yesterday with regards Lazenby. Much missed if he has gone.

Alex Payne isn't bad either though in fairness to him.

    Will Greenwood is a tool.

And while Quinlan is knowledgeable he's a bit like the Liam Brady of Sky Sports, he actually knows what he's talking about, but he's very droll and lethargic.

He's going to be presenting F1 now for Sky, or so the rumour has it. I'd imagine it means he won't be doing rugby anymore which is a pity.
