We had our wedding party in the function room in The Odeon, harcourt street.

The room itself holds up to 200, unless you are bringing in a band, you can either make an Itunes playlist and put it over their sound system or just bring a DJ.

You put a 200euro deposit on the room and get it back provided 1000euro is spent at the bar and they have a great selection of finger foods, at a couple of price ranges, which is all very tasty.

I couldn't recommend it highly enough, we got in in the afternoon to set it up and they boxed up all the decs afterwards for us, they allow you to bring your own cake too..

They did corkage for us, for our toast, but they will (understandably) only allow enough corkage for roughly one glass per person.

The Garda Club on Harrington St I'd say could hold that many in the big room downstairs.

I was at a private event there, thought it was great. Plenty of space, clean, nice staff. Big bar so not much queing involved, plenty of seating as well. Toilets on the same floor so no long treks.

The one thinng is that smokers have to travel a bit of a distance to get outside.

i played at a wedding (shameless plug for DJ service) here before http://www.fallonandbyrne.com/

Always thought it was a lovely spot. Nice function room, on the top floor but there's a lift to get you up to it. Should check it out

I was at a wedding the other day in the Royal College of Physicians on Kildare street. It was an amazing venue. Think it would hold about 150ish, there was 100+ at the wedding and it didn't seem crowded.

Also been to a wedding in F&B, lovely place.
