Designing For The Mobile Web
LG26 Monday 14th 5-6pm
Want to know how to approach designing websites for mobile devices? What are the limitations and what do you need to be aware of? We'll show you how to approach this on Monday.
Kick-Off Party in The Nubar
Monday 14th 6pm till late
Come enjoy a few drinks as we kick off the week. There will be a special redbrick cocktail only available this week!

Workday have kindly offered to come in and do some quickfire talks and a quick Q&A on interview techniques. They'll also be buying us some beer! They'll be talking about:

You and the software industry
3D Modelling Talk
LG26 Wednesday 16th 2-4pm
We'll be holding a workshop where you'll learn what goes into creating movies in 3D software. Ever wanted to make movies like Toy Story? Come see the basics of what that takes. We'll be doing some basic 3D Modelling and showing you how to animate a camera to create some great movies of your own.

What's Inside Your Computer?
L101 Thursday 17th 5-7pm
We'll be doing a workshop on what goes on inside your computer. You'll be taking apart a computer and learning what component does what. You may learn it's not as scary as you think!

Mahony Hall In The Helix Friday 18th 5-7pm
To finish off the week we'll have some world leaders in social media speak in the Helix. More details to follow
