Reverse parking camera and display

    Hi all,

Would anyone know where in Dublin I could get one of these fitted to an Audi TT?

Ideally I would like one of the ones that displays beside the rear view mirror.

Or if anyone has experience installing one, how easy was it?

    Cheers,
    N

You could probably also benefit from displaying one of these on the back...

If you're looking for one which'll display on the rear view mirror you're talking aftermarket products. There are rear view mirrors which look normal, but have a hidden screen which can show anything - a DVD playing, or a reverse camera.

Something like this is what you're going to need to begin with. Then you could get the likes of MDS in Palmerstown to fit the camera and relay running off the reverse lamp to activate it all.

Please refrain from posting in motors if you have nothing worthwhile to contribute

    That is brilliant, thanks.
Should work a treat with this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WIRELESS-Car-Reverse-Rear-View-Camera-Audi-A4L-TT-/130412186613?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1e5d2c0bf5

I can highly recommend MDS. I had the car in yesterday to replace the alarm & central locking. It took 3 hours longer than anticipated due to the crappy install of the original alarm. It also required 2 extra relays to get the central locking working. They only charged me €40 extra - which was less than the discount I negotiated when I had the wife's car in last month. Nice lads and a very professional install.
