I'm sure ther'll be plenty on here that will p.m you, just make sure its crystal clear what your paying for,and what your not paying for ,before you take anyone up on an offer.

I hate to see this commercial hunting being encouraged. These so-called ''guided professional'' stalkers are ruining deer stalking in this country for ordinary recreational stalkers. By charging extortionate fees these guys are going around offering land-owners over the top money for land and pricing ordinary fellows off land. They also sub-let the poorer leases to naive unsuspecting shooters who are desparate for any deer shooting available. I was nearly caught out earlier this year but thankfully a bit of research into the land and the guy that was offering it paid off. As Arrowloopboy says be careful what you are paying for and who you are paying, before you part with your cash. I would much prefer to see a barter system operate for anyone looking to swap days out or looking for somewhere different to shoot. I'd love to help you out but I'm not having much joy at deer at the moment.

Better off swap a day with someone. Very hard to buy days off the reputable outfitters at this time of year. Most will have all their stalking sold and wont want to take on extra lads as it would involve over-shooting their ground.

    ok here it goes.

i knocked on a door and spoke to a farmer (with respect).

the day after that while walking up the lane from his fields i met the neighbor who told me to shoot his land as well.

There is no free shooting in Ireland, I know; I read it on the Internet:rolleyes:

That Deer that Moss shot on my permission, The farmers wife asked me did i want money for the meat!

On saturday another farmer gave me a score because I sorted out grey crows for him!

I feel sorry for those who have to pay for it ;)
