Hi all. Just wondering if a licence is needed to do this in Ireland. Just say it was done in one small area of Dublin to begin with. The beer, spirits and cigarettes would all be bought in the same off licence( not affilliated in any way BTW) and then delivered to homes for a small delivery charge on top, maybe as a tip ( to get around legalities ;)). Deliveries would operate only around off licence opening times.
Would people on here avail of this service if it was up and running. Thanks in advance

Alchohol deliveries can't legally be done on a cod basis, they have to be paid for before they leave the sellers premises. So for example, a chinese I use will drop you out beers or wine with your chow mein, but only if you pay by credit card over the phone first.

You'll need an amoured truck, a shotgun and a pack of Rottweilers to even think of starting deliveries like that
