That car has featured on the skanger thread.:D I wouldn't touch it. How long would you realistically have to wait before he sells 50 tickets? what happens if you change your mind in the interim?

To be fair, it'd be worth winning for €30.

That said, I'm fairly sure what he's doing is illegal...

I agree with Limerickman that this ' raffle ' is probably illegal , anyway how can anyone be certain the seller will actually hold the draw or that the ' winner ' won't be one of his mates ?
    I wouldn't spend 30 cent on a ticket never mind 30 Euro.

It is, pretty sure you gotta sort a licence/permit to do this.

State of the car anyway, I'd rather spend the €30 in the pub

Think about it logically. Spend the €30, one in 50 chance.

Win the car, replace the interior bits with standard bits, sell the wheels and remove the stickers on the outside. Then sell the car for 4-500 easily. Wouldn't be a bad weeks wages, and you get plenty of pub money then.

its only 50 to 1 if its a Kosher raffle. Id say the chances of his mate Paddy winning it are way better than that

    Spend €30 for a 1/50 shot where the return isn't even 50/1.

I like gambling but I still wouldn't waste me money.
