    Anyone else think twitter is a pile of crap, even worse than Facebook!

    Am I simply above this crap, or do I just 'not get it?'

    Some people might think the same about message boards (e.g. boards.ie), yo obviously like using them. If you don't like it, don't use it..

    Meh, it's a good way to communicate with celebrities and famous people, who you proberly wouldn't get the chance to do in normal circumstances.

    I'm on twitter. I've never tweeted anything myself but I just use it to follow mma news and I get all the news as it happens. Its handy for that sort of stuff but I wouldn't be able for all the celebrities on it tweeting about their cornflakes they had for breakfast. Pointless stuff altogether.

    Nearly all these sites are as good or as bad as you want them to be. Just because people use the technology like idiots doesn't make the technology itself bad. Apart from bebo.

    I was getting pissed off with it but Im making it work for me now. Just follow who you're interested in. The likes of TheBigSam and Ross OCK are hillarious IMO. Alan Partridge has a great one too.. Sports/News updates are also handy..
