Listening to iPhone in Peugeot 407

Hopefully I will be getting an iPhone soon and am looking at the options for listening to music through the car stereo. There is no aux-in on the stereo and the concensus seems to be that FM transmitters are cr*p.

    I have a 2005 Peugeot 407 with RD4 radio.

It seems to me that the best solution is to fit one of these: Dice unit, Xcarlink or Dension Gateway 100.

Which of these would be best in terms of audio quality and features?

Where is the cheapest place to buy them?

Does anybody know of the most reasonable place to get them fitted (and cd changer port enabled) in Dublin?

Cheap FM transmitters are crap, good ones are not. I have a Monster model and it's excellent quality, won't quote the model number because it's pretty old at this stage but it does what it says on the tin.

When you say the good ones do you mean Belkin and Griffin?
It was looking like they would solve my problem but there were too many negative reviews.

I am now thinking towards the kits mentioned but not sure which one to get.

The only real solution is a working aux-in connection. Wireless transmitter don't really work in the Dublin area thanks to RTE's pollution of the FM band. I think that you'll need to get a Peugeot dealer to active it - its not a diy job. Much more satisfactory in the long run though.

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Belkin-FM-Transmitter-Universal-Clearscan/dp/B002S8AFE8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1321129354&sr=8-1

This is decent. It automatically finds the clearest FM frequency to lock on to and gives this on the screen to tune your radio in to.
