Have a 18 month oldhome built pc with an Asus M4A89GTD motherboard which was working fine. PC froze on me Ctrl Alt Del would not work so had to power off.

Now when I power on pc will not boot. There is power to the motherboard and all the fans work and the GPU fan.

There is no start up beep.

    So far I have

    Reset the jumper

Removed and replaced the CMos Battery

Tried to boot after removing the GPU

    Reinstalled the RAM

    Still no boot.

When I hold the power button or press reset will no longer do so have to switch off at power unit

Any suggestions to repair or at least figure what part is wrong

Is it worth bring to a repair shop? If so any recommendations

    Thanks:mad:

Try another power supply in it, could be the PSU has failed, make sure all cables including the front panel jumpers are connected properly, make sure the 20/24 pin ATX power is connected properly and the CPU 4 pin (Intel only)
