Got an email about this yesterday with a link offered.
    "
    Dear ROS Customer
Our records indicate that you have registered to have digitally signed ROS emails delivered to you from Revenue. "

As I never asked for this service I wonder is it a trojan/etc or just a "To: *.* " from Revenue?

    ROS customer:D

If you registered for ROS you will get emails from them.

HOWEVER, the only emails I get from ROS are emails telling me that I "have mail" on the ROS system.

Yes I agree with this, the email is always from roshelp@revenue.ie and not 'noreply' as in this case

Oops, I also get mail from ROS reminding me that a filing is due. What I meant is that I never get an email from them with a request to reply.

In your ROS Profile you have a box that you can tick if you want to receive digitally signed e-mails from ROS. Click here and scroll to the bottom of the page to download the certificate.

My guess is that you must have ticked that box in your Profile at some point. The e-mail is legitimate and is simply advising you to download the new certificate as the previous one has expired.
