    Hi folks , trying to play multiplayer but cant get online
    and rang my landline broadband supplier vodafone but he said he was allowed to tell me what action to take

    my modem is a netopia
    can someone here please give me blow by blow instruction on what i specifically need to do to resolve my problems

    Change your routers firewall settings from medium to low and that should get you in

    netopia is more than likely the eircom one.Were you ever with eircom?

    anyways if its an eircom one type 192.168.1.254(without any http://www in front of it) and the firewall option should be on the left.Just click on it and set it to low or off and save.
