I found this: cl.ly/BfvU Don't know where to start with it, it looks so complex. How do I begin web development with this, download Firefox or something?

That's just a list of URLs of related resources. You could start at the top and read the articles/pages/posts/whatever-they-are, but I wouldn't suggest that. Have a search through boards.ie, look for "learn web design" and related keywords and read some of the threads to get started.
