What's it like? Have the chance to play it this week and just wondering if it's worth a go.

Yea certainly worth a go seeing as its a links which are few and far between, although they are more numerous here in Ireland than most places. Anyway, Rush is a 9 holer as you probobly know and is very narrow. Thats the the thing that sticks in my mind from playing there, the 2nd hole especially. Short and straight will win the day at Rush. The greens are good and true and there are a few good holes. They did well with the narrow bit of land available but its not in the same league as most of the other Dublin links. On the plus side, on your inward nine you will already be familiar with the course and I have to say the 8th, elevated tee shot to a short par 3, and the 9th, short but fun par 4 are a nice conclusion to the round. This course really flies under the radar as it seems they have a healthy membership and dont rely much on green fees and therefore dont advertise themselves much, but it's worth a go as anytime ive played it it's been in tip top condition. Enjoy.
