    hi, thinking of getting a terrier for ratting and bushing(game birds, rabbits etc. obviously not retrieving ) and for fun really (i always thought they were really cool dogs ) never had one though...hav had excellent springers though..whats the best breed of terrier for hunting cover or are they all pretty much the same??also just interested to know what are the differences between jack russells, plummers, lakeland/patterdale, borders,fox and bedlingtons etc.in terms of characteristics(obviously no t in looks as ive seen pics of them all but size would be good also)...google was hopeless :)are any one s better at ratting bushing ground work etc?? thanks

    Have a cairn cross myself - great little fella for putting up all types of game and works well with the other dogs on both rabbits and foxes:)
