Android equivalent to Apple TV

    Hi all,
I plan to buy a media player and ideally would like one with which I could use my Android phone as a remote, and also through which I could stream files from my phone to the TV (e.g. photos). Does anyone know of a player that can support this?

BTW....by media player I mean a physical hard drive connected to the TV....not an app on the phone.

    Thanks

Check out the Google TV Logitech Revue.
It's $99 in USA, being discontinued though but it probably does most of what you need.

LG are due to make an announcement on their next gen Google tv soon... It will be worth waiting for as the first gen was seen as a bit underdeveloped

XBMC has a pretty damn good Android remote so Id vouch for anything running that!
You could build your own for a few hundred (actually less id say)

Can you control XBMC on a jailbroken apple tv with an android phone?
