    Hi,

Am looking to see if someone can tell
me the best place to park in or within walking distance of baggot street (Near Larry Murphy's pub) for a day that isn't pay and display as it will cost a fortune for a full day. Anywhere within a 10-15minute walk ok.

    Thanks for your help.

I don't think you'll find anywhere like that anywhere in Dublin 2 or most of Dublin 4 or 6, unless its the weekend.

Park and ride might be your best option. What direction are you coming from?

Stephens Green Shopping Centre parking - €10 for the day and about 10 minute walk to Baggot street.

The west half of Lombard Street East (yes, I mean one side of the road and not the other) is free on Saturdays, if you can find a space.

Wellington Road is free on Saturdays, it's about a 10 minute walk to Larry Murphy's but I'd say it's as good as you'll get. Even the back lanes off Raglan Road have white boxes for pay and display.

It's fairly quiet down that part of town on Saturdays so make sure there's nothing visible in the car to tempt opportunistic thieves.
