Mikko Hirvonen wont be re-starting tomorrow so Leob is the 2011 WRC champion.

Have to say though, the battle to win the WRC academy is really hotting up. Breen is leading over night, with title rival Kaur second. For breen to win the championship, if Kaur finishes second, breen has to win the rally, as well as winning 14 from 17 stages. Today he has won 9 from 11, so he still needs to win 5 from 6 tomorrow (providing Kaur doesnt win any).

Fisher is in third overnight, 33secs behind Kaur. If he can regain second position, it will ease the pressure on Breen as he wont have to win as many stages. Cant wait for the action to restart in the morning.

Would love to see Breen take the title tomorrow. He really is the fastest driver in the academy but has been very unlucky. Hopefully Fisher can get ahead of Kaur without beating Craig on the stages. There is about 90km of stages left tomorrow should be very exciting.

Shame about Hirvonnen, he was going well until his off. I hope Jari Matti can take the win.

The pressure on Breen must be immense.
He is doing everything he needs to though and he is over 4 minutes ahead of Kaur.
He deserves it if he can keep up the pace.

if fisher gets back ahead, breen would only need the one stage win though. and its not beyond possibility. fisher lost 3m30 to breen on the last stage so he has been much faster than kaur. if he stays at the pace he was at he could very well pull the 30seconds back to retake second

Kaur has upped the pace today and won the first stage. Unless Fisher can regain second (not looking likely as Kaur has been faster all morning) Breen needs to win the rest of the stages today. So he needs 5 from 6 today, he has got 2 from 3. So he HAS to win the next 3 stages.

He got the stage wins, he just has to make it back to service to pick up his half million cheque!
