here we go with the 11/11/11 ****e!!! What an absolute load of rubbish this is. Ok here are the facts. The universe is 13 BILLION odd years old. The Gregorian calendar was invented by humans 2011 odd years ago. To say that 11/11/11 is somehow cosmic makes NO SENSE. The earth, moon, sun, planets, stars galaxies, supernovae, black holes etc., have no concept of our definition of date & time. In other words, they DON'T KNOW what date and time it is on the earth. So why would they miraculously start aligning and making all sorts of wonderful **** happen, just because some guy wanted to label and measure the earths rotation and orbit of the sun? Same goes for luck, peace, love, happiness, spiritual awakening etc. IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN TODAY!!! To put it simply, these things are achievable & accessible ANYTIME within yourself...... So feck the date - get living......

A very odd (and somewhat nerdy) thing occurred in work today, particularly given the day that is in it.

I work for a software company, and every now and then we have to remotely log into a clients pc to do all sorts. Anyway, a particular client rang today, who have 20+ stores in their chain. One of them was in a bit of bother. I had to link in and do a bit of work. It was only towards the end did I realise that...

The shop number in their chain was 11 (out of 25). The touchscreen till in the shop was 1 (out of 5), so it has a chain wide number of 111. After re-installing the software, I then had to license it. Our internal IP address of the machine I needed to link into ends with 111.

This might be lost on most, but let's just say it is a very very coincidental occurrence.

I passed the idea to a friend back in 2010 who put it out of my head that its no fun. its all the ones or nothing. twas hurtful at the time knowing your dreams are being brushed aside. Anyway the fiasco is over and all have lived yet another day.
