Looking for a new mp3 player as Im getting tired of switching all my music around on my trusty 16GB Sony. Looking for something with plenty of storage. Was thinking of the 160GB iPod Classic. Know someone going to US next week so can get it in appl store for about €180 - €50 cheaper than here. Only thing is I hate iTunes. Rather drag and drop. Is there any other players out there around the same price that people recommend?

You can drag and drop using iTunes:

The Classic is the best and almost only game in town.

There are other apps that let you manage content on an iPod without using iTunes.

So you're looking for a mp3 player that'll pop up on you computer like a memory stick to transfer music to software free? with your capacity needs there's nothing new that'll tick those 2 boxes, even the older devices maxed out at 80gb and would be difficult to track down/not worth the hassle.

The ipod classic is the only high capacity mp3 player still in production, so your only option is maybe to install itunes and drag and drop like cnoicbui suggested. It's not the worst compromise in the world.
