My Nissan Micra k11 '97 low speed wipers doesn't work correctly (intermittent ) . were looking on different ads, and noticed, that most nissans around same year , relay box looks absolutely same. would it fit from id say nissan almera 1996-1999 or other nissan around same year ?

And actually , i dont know where is problem..... relay or motor, if somebody in blanchardstown or nearby would let me just check (borrow relay for 10 min) on site, just to find out is the relay causing problem .

    thanks

Change the motor, but if you're going secondhand, make sure the one you get is actually working. You could also take yours apart and try repairing it. it's usually just a worn contact or dirty contacts internally. but only do that if you're mechanically competent.

done that, split it , checked all contacts, it seems to be fine. all coils (there is 3 of them) are fine. However i am looking somebody to borrow relay, to see is that really relay or motor.

Bit of a bump here but how did you get on?
This happened on the GFs K11 99 a while back (on intermittent or manual the wipers doesn't return to rest position, they just stop as soon as you let go of the stalk) and of course the NCT caught it.

Not sure it would be contacts, try first find/borrow for a minute another good known working rely , see if any differences. If there is no difference, than could be dirty distributor contacts. there is in micra forum http://www.micra.org.uk/threads/wiper-relay.37071/people dealing with this issue, and fixing. if you not sure about what to do, i could lend a hand :) easy enough to fix .

A bit of edit: there is kind little surgery involved, as there is problem with contacts, which are hidden in to distributor box (probably not ment to be splitted.. BUT.... ) between motor and arm, which controls wiper arms. need drill out rivets, take off cover, clean and bend three contacts, apply some grease, put cover back, and in holes, which drilled out, i put screws. that's it.
