My daughter, 9 has just started piano lessons. We are looking at buying something that will last her at least a few years. The couple of options I've got down to are:

    1. Casio CDP 100 - http://www.thomann.de/ie/casio_cdp100_deluxe_bundle.htm which at €489 for a weighted keyboard seems very good.

    2. Yamaha NCP-80 - http://www.thomann.de/ie/yamaha_np_v80_set.htm
which at €444 is good but it doesn't have weighted keys.

    What I'm concerned about is
    a) the quality of the above (particularly the Casio weighted key's at that price)
    b) am I missing another / better make

I'd like to keep the spend under €500, any advice gratefully received. BTW has anyone purchased from Thomann before (no shipping charge which is nice).

    Eoin
