Uncle looking now to sell his ford 7000, its in good mechanical order some rust and holes in doors, mudguards etc but fairly good overall, has a original loader and fork, tyres are 50%. not many around so do not know what they are worth or should be asking.
    what you think?

I am not sure what money they make but it is a very sought after tractor.

does any one remember the 7000 buying craze 3 or 4 years back! they were going for 10.000 to 27.000 sterling for good orignal ones !

my father was exporting them out of the country in the 90s and they started importing them from the same countrys he sent them to because of the madness! now you would be lucky to get 5000-7000 euro for it!

YES making mad money some years back, he has it 21 years, he was hoping for at least €7000 plus for it with loader

Stick up a picture of it, I dont know what you or your uncle will get but I like them and one with a loader is good and bad for obvious reasons.

well if its good and straight tinwork wise and has its orignal engine then it may be worth the 7000 euro! and if the loader is good it will push the value up a bit more. but you may find either an entuisiast other wise you might get good money for export but the problem now is people dont want to part with money!

Soo, is he selling or keeping?? What bit of the above posts changed his mind about selling? Popular tractor(God knows why, but same goes for the Massey 1 series)and I drove one for a living for several years and still work a 165. I baled hay for hire for years with a ford 7000 and a 7700 and would take the 77 all day any day. Fashion, it's a fickle beast eh.

well he has it for ages( over 21 years) and was a great tractor, if he didnt get what he wanted for it he would rather keep it..

bad times now and as stated above people not got the money to spent as they did

I doubt farmers were paying that money for them when you could get a far superior 7610 Gen III for similar money!

an original but slightly rough 7000 is making £7000 still.there was one i know of that sold in england for £27,000 a few years back. a thing that you need to check is if it still has its original engine or if it has been changed for a 7610 triple x block.this will bring down the value greatly if it has been changed.another thing classic buyers like to see is the original rims on it and in good condition even if there not the original tyres.you would need to show pics and give me more details, there was a 7000 fairly original that sold on donedeal for €14,000 a few months ago
