i'm not sure if i will get an answer to this question here, its purely hypothetical from my POV. just interested to know for future reference etc.

company offers a service which needs to be booked in advance. you can pay on completion or receive a discount for early payment
customer books and pays early. the date of booking passes with no communication from the service provider.
despite appearing to be still in business (taking orders etc) no work is being completed and, as the company is not contactable, the customer feels they have a suitable case for the SCC.
they take the case and win.

the company does not pay and, a few months later, goes into receivership.

at this point, where does the customer with the SCC judgement stand vs the customer who has just booked and paid?
i know thow the ordinary customer is an unsecured creditor, but is the other more likely to get their money back?

thanks for reading, if i havent explained anything clearly let me know and i iwll give it another shot
