Passed away from a stroke as a result of a heart attack today. Didn't realise the man was actually still alive, he only recently turned 80. He made the brain buster into an exciting move and was one of the best heels of the 60s/70s. But he was also supposed to be a hilarious guy on the road. One of my favourite stories…

Passed away from a stroke as a result of a heart attack today. Didn't realise the man was actually still alive, he only recently turned 80.

He made the brain buster into an exciting move and was one of the best heels of the 60s/70s. But he was also supposed to be a hilarious guy on the road. One of my favourite stories involves him frequently playing a prank in Japan were he would be in a bar with a glass marble, and drop it into his drink. He then would cover over his eye and tell the bar man "My eye! My eye!" and get them to fish out the marble. He'd pretend to put the marble in his eye socket and carry on drinking.

Thoughts are with his friends and family.
