Best time to buy a car?

    Hi All,
    can anyone tell me when is the best time of year to buy a second-hand car and when does the price of a car drop? Is it at the start of the year like January or feb maybe. Or later in the year.

    Example; 2008 BMW 6series €37,000 at present. Will it drop in price this side of Christmas or would I be looking at Feb, march or later in 2012 to see a drop?

    Buy 2004/2005 one for 15k and keep the rest for holidays.

    It allways depends from car you buy/sell too.

    Convertibles allways go up at summer and drop in winter etc.

    Your muck standart family a to b yoke will drop in price at early months of the year as market is filled with traded in stuff.

    The best time is when the right car with the right history can be bought for the right price. Other than that, cars shed value fairly consistently.
