Hi all. I'm not sure I chose the right forum... but my question is...do you know those people in orange velts(luas customer service), they check luas tickets..so are they allowed to stop me and ask me to show my ticket when I just steped out of the luas? is it legal? I'm asking because it's not the first time they stop me on luas stop and ask to show my ticket and I have to wait till they check it..it annoys me..

Yes , they have the right to stop you once you are on the LUAS ( or they have seen you get off ) and ask to see your ticket , you can be fined if you don't have a ticket.

Platforms belong to the RPA so I'd image that they can challenge you if you exit a tram onto their platforms.

While it annoys you, how do you think they should check that everyone travelling has paid to do so? If they didn't check there would be many more fare evaders and prices would go up.
