Tyson Fury: I Need a Psychiatrist, I'm Mentally Disturbed

GIANT heavyweight champ Tyson Fury claims he is mentally disturbed and in need of a psychiatrist.
The 23-year-old Romany gypsy made the startling admission as he prepared to defend his title against Canadian Neven Pajkic.
The pair meet at EventCity in Manchester on Saturday night, when Fury defends his Commonwealth title.
But while unbeaten Fury knows exactly what he is doing inside the ring, he admits that outside of it his mind is often in a mess.
He said: “One minute I’m over the moon and the next minute I feel like getting in my car and running it into a wall at a hundred miles an hour.
“I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I’m messed up.
“I think I need to see a psychiatrist because I believe that I’m mentally disturbed in some way.
“Maybe it was the fact that when I was a kid we didn’t have a family life.
“My mother and father were always shouting and screaming and hitting each other.
“My dad had different women and different kids down the road. My mum had 14 pregnancies but only four of us survived.
“We had a little sister born for a few days and she died. There had to be a funeral. That would affect you.”
Fury’s father ‘Gypsy Johnny’, a former pro boxer and bare knuckle brawler, was sentenced to nine years in jail earlier this year for gouging a man’s eye out.
Mancunian Tyson added: “I’m very different to my dad. I’ve never been in trouble in all my life.
“I have not got a criminal record and I have never had a fight ­outside of boxing.”
Fury also holds the British title, after winning all of his 16 paid fights, and is a serious heavyweight hope.
He believes he can become a household name and said: “Years ago, the world heavyweight champion could be said to have reached the highest pinnacle of sport.
“Even in this country boxers were heroes. Think of Henry Cooper and Frank Bruno – no footballer was bigger than Frank Bruno.
“But I don’t think it will get back to that stage. People are looking to celebrities now.
“In British boxing Joe Calzaghe’s gone, so has Ricky Hatton and David Haye. But I’m hoping I can bring it back round.
“When I beat Dereck Chisora, 3.2million watched it on Channel 5. I’ve got an outspoken personality which gets people thinking.
“My style of fighting is aggressive. Everything’s on the line all the time. In my fights there is always drama.”

What he didn't say was how useless he is, and how he wouldn't stand a chance with a quality boxer, he has been rocked in his last 2 fights, and only the bell saved him tonight at the end of round 2. Tyson Fury will never be world champion, and we would never have heard of him, only there is so few good heavy weight boxers now, so he fills the gap. Hopefully his next fight will be against someone ranked near the top 10, so we don't have listen to this crap that, He is a future world champ, what a joke
