    Hi all

I have researched answers to my questions on this forum and elsewhere but I find it hard to find answers as my situation is rather particular. I am hoping you can help...

    I am 27, I graduated my degree in 2007.

Since then I have been living abroad/travelling/working at home.

I am a Director of a Private Limited Company that I set up in 2009 and I receive a small wage from that. I have only been able to take a wage for past 4 months as business is still small and I have basically put all my money into it over past 2 years. I am only 10% owner of the company.

I moved back to Ireland full time in September 2011 and am currently living at home as I probably will be for next 6 months at least. My mother is a retired widow living alone.

In September I want to do the PgDip in Education or possibly a Masters.

Can I apply for grant or any other funding opportunities? I will not be able to take a wage from the company once I start college as I will not be working for the company full time anymore.

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks

Have you been resident in Ireland for 3 of the last 5 years.

If you haven't then you are not eligible

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Yes I have been resident here for 3 of past 5 years.

Im a bit worried now that all grants will be slashed in the budget though...

Watch out for the budget - it looks like they are going to announce no funding for Postgrads.

when you say living at home - do you mean with your mother?
