Will I lose add ons with fresh FF

Firefox crashed and will not open. I get a box saying restart FF but when i try the box comes back. I am on IE now and my question is if I download and install a fresh copy of FF will I lose my add ons? And should I uninstall the old or install the new over it? OK solved
