    Sell it to kash4gold.com
Or would you photograph the find and record any details before going any further and contact the relevant authorities?

Would you sell national treasure if you could get away with it? 30 votes

if you could get away with it?
I'd sell it, but not for scrap metal to scamYourGold

I thought it was a golden horse you'd found OP :(

There not much you could do with it, it would be a bitch to launder, unless you wanted to deal with major crims.

You could I suppose send little bits of the horde to one of those gold dealers and hope they are not interested as to why it not in jewellery form.

Buy a dictionary and look up the word horde to understand what I'd found.

I'd send them a postcard from a country that had no extradition treaty with Ireland.

    Is it Roman?

Sell it to a proper gold dealer, not a scam cash for gold type enterprise.
I'd sell it for cash and keep all of it .

    I'd plunder it.
Not a 100% sure what 'plundering' is, but it seems appropriate.

i would take a nominal finders fee

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,516 ✭✭✭Outkast_IRE

Probably get my own cast made up then smelt it into that , thus making it harder for anyone else to try and claim it.
Then sell some and get rest stored in secure location , somewhere in switzerland perhaps.

Keep it, and wait until the dust settles.
In a few years it may be useful.
