    Hi All,

Any Limerick togs care to recommend somewhere in Limerick that would be good for a night time/indoor photoshoot? Have some friends getting married in December and they've asked me to take some pics for them, but unfortunately I'm unfamiliar with Limerick. Not looking for trade secrets, but any thoughts greatly appreciated!

Are there any nice hotels/museums around that would be amenable to allowing a shoot on the grounds or in a nice room?

Edit: Sorry forgot to add, it's Limerick City, not county!

Georgian House ;) My secret little gem! Other then that, I'd say try ringing Sean Curtin or lette moloney around and they should know some, As they do weddings.

When is the wedding, I'll have a look around for you before hand and come up with some ideas! :) Oh and when you are down, I call coffee! :P

Oopps forgot to say - it's a christmasy wedding 23rd Dec, would be great to get somewhere with a christmas tree/lights for some sweet bokeh!

That Georgian house looks incredible, what a great resource to have in a city!

Hmm.. Christmas Lights, I'll be around tomorrow and I'll look, Infact they are being turned on around the town tomorrow too so it'll give me a better idea too! And most places have their decorations up! :)

Do they charge for using it as a photoshoot location? I have a couple of model portfolio shoots coming up and this looks like it might be ideal for the type of shots the models are looking for.

I'm not too sure - They might be now because of the Civic Trust being under financial strain, but it was free for us for the 'This is Limerick' Event AFAIK. Sure I'll give em a ring and find out :)

Turns out the wedding meal is in a really nice hotel, just beside that georgian house with a similar interior, and we can have use of it for the shoot! Talk about making things easy on me! :D

Very nice! I'll still be ringing for Brian if you want use of the house itself, as its a work of art there!

Sure it'd be no harm to ask I suppose, would be great to have the option. Thanks a million for all the help :D
