23 wickets fell today in the South Africa Australia game today!!
After Watsons masterclass with the ball bowling Southa Africa out for 96.

Australia then came out and got bowled out for 47!!! Quite amazing, any other nation and we'd think there was something dodgy going on but today was just brilliant entertainment!!

    LONG LIVE TEST CRICKET!

    119/3, 107/2...and 68/18 inbetween :D

South Africa don't lose at Cape Town

And to top it all off, tomorrow is far from a foregone conclusion. SA generally win at Newlands, but there may still be a final twist in this match.

Great debut test for Vernon Philander and you have to feel sorry for Lospy (Tsotsobe) as he took heaps of wickets in India, but wasnt picked for the game.

Unsurprisingly the Aussie press are a little disappointed. I just wish they would bother learning the opposition team members' names... Hashan Amla?

Wow......Looks like no team in world cricket knows how to play the swinging ball!!!!

Still think Australia have enough runs in the bank to maybe sneak this despite being 21 for 9!!!!

More like 20/20 scores to me! ;)

The Aussies have been off the ball before the Ashes and it is continuing until they regroup and get some experience under their belts.

Pity Oz didn't get bowled out for 21. Being dismissed for the lowest total in test match history and still winning the game would have been some story.

Aussies need to get a hold of themselves as some of their players are not good enough like Haddin, Hughes and they need a bowler badly as Johnson is hit and miss and Siddle and Harris are workhorses they dont fire often enough. They should persuade Lee to comeback for a few more tests just to steady the ship

That fellow Bradman is a handy batsman as well.

Not really looking to the future bringing Lee back. That said Hughes has certainly been given too many chances to prove himself at Test level, even following a spell back in state cricket to correct his faults he still is failing. We heard plenty about an Australian overhaul after the last Ashes but all they done in the batting was bring Hughes back. Is the next generation Australian batting talent that bad?

Harris is good, look at his stats if you don't belive me. He was their best bowler in The Ashes and won them the Sri Lanka series, he wasn't to bad in the first innings either.

haddin is a bit of a flat track bully, Matthew Wade or Tim Paine will probably get a chance if e fails in the next test.

That is why Test cricket is the best form of cricket. That was amazing day of cricket and SA missed the chance to bowl them out for 21.

23 wickets in a day is crazy, and I think only 3 fell before lunch, so there were 20 in 2 sessions....

Another two collapses in the second test.

South Africa 241-4, 266 all out.
    Australia 174-0, 192-1, 296 all out.

Not really looking to the long run providing Lee again. That said Gaines has certainly been given too many possibilities to confirm himself at Test level, even following a cause again in state cricket to correct his problems he still is unable.
