I would not bother .It will cost you a lot to restore and it will still look like a piece of **** .:D
Get a real old classic Honda like the CD 175 or CD 125/150cc

All your missing is the fairing around your legs.
Get a white one from a breakers off a honda 50 or something.

well it hasent cost to much so far 100e to buy 300 to rebuild the engine and 80 for asorted parts!

i really like these bikes and anto2 your entiteled to your opinion but coming on to my thread and saying my bike will look ****e when restored is ignorent!

getting parts was easy and cheap as theres a specialist in gorey and my father had lots of spares so it was worth doing it! im only haveing trouble getting the plastics/fairings

They're snazzy little yokes. Can't help you finding parts. Throw up a pic when you get it done. Before and after pics rule

Keep any eye on sites like DD. I did a search when I first seen your post, and there was one on DD for 600e back a few months. I was suprised at the condition it was in for that price, I thought they went for a lot more that that in good nick.

Also your right, imo it's out of order to come on to your thread and post stuff like that. I have 4 medium powered bikes 400-=650cc, but I sometime get strange opinions from people when they discover that my favorite is my Vespa 200cc, which I have as a long term project; plan is to do a good custom job on it. We all have different tatses in bikes, I would be interested in a CD, but I wouldn't disparage someone for being interested in that model.

Great project op, I've no parts or advice, but it's great to give a lease of life to one of those bikes. I like them, the posh Honda 50 :)

I look forward to seeing your bike finished - I admire your bravery and tenacity, as I would have written it off as uneconomical to restore (I'm lazy like that). If I can offer two pieces of technical advice before you go spending your money on bodywork, make sure the engine is running properly and take the tyre off that back wheel and check that the spokes aren't about to rot through the rim.

The first part is the most important and I've been caught multiple times where I've invested huge time and money in a project only to find the engine is banjaxed and I have to spend more than I planned.

The second part is less important but relevant since all Honda spoked wheels from that era suffered internal rusting and the chrome held them together until one day... crunch. The spokes are very rusty so I'd worry that the rim is ready to retire.

    Good luck, have fun.
