Does anyone here know are fold up bikes allowed on commuter trains?
Im thinking of commuting from galway to athlone by train. and i would need a bike to make it easy to get to the train stations.
I dont fancy having 2 bikes, one locked up at either station, so I was thinking i could get one of those small folding bikes because i wouldnt have any hills to cycle on.
The bike folds up about the size of a normal piece of luggage, so i was wondering would it be allowed on board in the luggage area?
