Is it not hairdressers, middle aged women who think they are 25 & male ryanair cabin crew that drive celica's...you'll probably pull a man..

Yes, you can pull a small trailer with a Celica. No, you can't pull a woman. Women aren't impressed by cars anymore.

The garage Almera I have this past 2 weeks has done nothing for the women.

Is yours a hatchback? Mine is a saloon..........the local Parish Priest has been getting very pally though

You will have no problem pulling a trailer with it.

Back in the day we used to bring a half tonne bag of feed and a few other bits home from the hardware in the car trailer pulled by a 1.0L polo carvan :D

Bad enough if you have an Almera forced on you. It's pipe & slippers time if you actually buy one.

oh you're a woman sorry....you can pull in anything in that case, men are fairly shallow.

Answer. Yes you can tow with a Celica but you are limited to a proportion of the weight of the car afaik so you wont be able to tow much,

I refer to it as a 'punishment car'

I've clearly done something very wrong to deserve this

It depends what your are planning to pull(seriously that is)

Its a high power, low torque engine so will be under a fair bit of stress if you try to pull anything heavy.

There was a lad near me years ago with a Supra with a towbar. It's a little known fact that drifting actually originated on a mart day in Macroom as he tried to take off with a full load of heifers in 2 inches of cow ****e.

well....i thought about a trailer actually, but got it, think the car is (of course) not really built for stuff like this...:D
    too bad ha

Plenty drunk people seem to think that anyway.

Funniest conversation I ever had going up the Main Street after a night out.

    Sexy woman: Fancy a ride?
    Myself: 5r do ya?
    Woman: 5r a go, 10r a blow

Both of us burst out laughing, only stopped when I got home :P

    And gearboxes *cough*

One or the other of those problems certainly affects the one I'm driving.

There is a strange grinding noise and fifth gear can be elusive at time

The 01 I'm driving is on (as far as I'm aware) it's 3rd (2nd hand) gearbox. Original, another was put in and then I put in another. Many of the gearboxes I went to look at in Almeras were ruined...

Almeras could be the new Octavias - they have no redeeming qualities whatsoever for the discerning motorist.
