Some manufactuers (epson, Canon, Kodak, etc.) inks don't last that long, some other options are:
    www.justmedia.ie
    www.inkmaestro.ie
Also any of those refill shops sometimes do compatibles
I don't think you'll get any more ink in ones in other places so should shop around for the best price

    Hi,
I know we have been looking at this for ages. We bought a laser machine, but even these are dear. We used a place in Naas for a while but a new ink store in Newbridge seems to be the best value. Think it is www.swiftsupplies.ie and they are based in Newbridge but send our ink and toner printer cartridges for free.
Their ink cartridges are about the same price as other refillers but seems to last way longer so we have been delighted.
Not a whole lot you can do, ink is expensive anywhere!!

Had to reply in relation to Inkjet.ie - I used them and can't recommend them at all. The first cartridge I got worked fine, I got two more and the quality was rubbish, eventually sent them back to them and all they could say was I took to long to send them back. I asked and re-asked saying they were clearly faulty, which they never disputed but they said because I took longer than 30 days to send them back it was my tough luck basically. Not exactly living up to the 100% Satisfaction Guarantee!

Left a moan on their facebook about it and they deleted it within a couple of hours, so don't believe all the positive guff on there either.

Steer clear would be my recommendation anyway. Very bad form.

I use Ink Maestro and find them good.

In terms of the previous post, if you take the protective covering off a cartridge, it will dry up and clog eventually.
If you buy a faulty cartridge, you should return it immediately - otherwise, they will not be able to determine the problem.

I've also refilled my cartridges with mixed results. A lot of refill kits tell you to fill them until you see ink coming out of the refill hole. In my experience, this is bad advice. Find out the capacity of the chamber in your cartridge, and just fill in this amount of ink.

Last time I bought ink was from Amazon.co.uk. Most items over £25 is free to ship to Ireland. Was very cheap and original goods. Happy enough.

We were getting are ink very cheap from Hong Kong but have since moved to an endless ink system. It's the best way it you want to save money on ink.

Boils down to what you need the printed material for. If it's just for few months any ink is fine. I have been using cheap VS original ink and seen no difference once printed. Mind you 2 years later same document seems very different. Original ink doesn't fade so easy.

I buy Office Basics compatible ink now, it's unbelievably cheep and good. For everyday printing it's brilliant, I buy it in the local town, but I found it here (http://www.officespot.ie/) and it's even cheaper so might give them a try next time.

Tbh I use compatible inks with my Epson and don't have any fading issues, none that are that apparent anyways. I print on printable CDs/DVDs often and the quality is good and persistant!
