What's up with Big Deal 24? Is it a Big 'un? I can't seem to open it, and it's the one they use in the Ads..

Furniture at a guess, going by the URL.

As usual these offers are just to get you in the door , I remember last year they were advertising a phillips surround sound system for about 180e bucks, wanted to treat myself for xmas went in there they tell me there not in stock yet will have it next week this went on for 2 months until finally they got them in stock only for the special offer to have ended and the price went back up.

Just back from the one at Nutgrove. Loads of deals. They dont have any of the JVC headphones, but they had about 15 of the George Foremans.

Picked up a few other deals:
12 AAA Philips Batteries for 5er
All in one Remote for 14.99
    Christmas candle - 2.00

Melendez - you are not going crazy - I saw the €189 one (with DVD) and the €177 one (without DVD) when I clicked on the "Big Deal no 3" at various times today - now it only shows the €177 one. Odd.

Going by the picture this is the Desire blender that they have for €59 rather than €99 so it looks like there's a mistake in the ad (€59 is much more in line with prices elsewhere). €33 looks like a good price for it though.

Right, so I asked somebody to get me this blender and they did. Turns out that it isn't the blender from the photo at all but instead looks like this one which is obviously a much cheaper blender. I gather HN don't have a returns policy and the Ts&Cs on their site stipulate that you can't rely on any information there so I suspect they're going to refuse to refund this one. Which sucks.

Still loads of the headphones in HN Airside.

No Samsung mobiles at all. Asked 3 salesmen:
    1. They're all gone...
    2. We do not sell mobiles
    3. They never came....

Ah good auld Hardly Normal is at it again.

Dupe the public into thinking they are going to get a great bargain.

Why people buy from them is really beyond me.
