What's the original .hack?

    Hey I'm actually finding it hard to find out what is the original series of .hack? I can't find many websites that have it aswell. And the sites that do have it, the collection is limited. Can some one help?

    According to Wikipedia, .hack//Sign was the first series to air.

    In terms of media. I think it's .hack//sign then the first quadrilogy of games and the OVA's that come with it. The comes .hack//roots and the .hack//GU games.

    Like a single-player offline MMO, iirc from reviews.

    FFXII is the best example of this.

    It's on PS2, you should be able to buy cheap copies anywhere.

    p.s. don't ask about torrents on these forums ;)

    this pleases me. have only gotten the ps2 up and running in the past few days and didnt know .hack was on it.
