I have one as well. I find it works very well, but it's a bit heavy for the size of it.

I have one in 30cal that I use more on my 223 than the 308. I had it for nearly 2 years when I noticed a fault where I was getting a gas blowback out the back of it. Where it screws onto the barrel. Quick phone call to Jackson rifles and a replacement was sent on to me.

I find it very good and it's lighter than the T8

I have the ASE S5, tidy in comparison to the Northstar.
    Heavy though.

Did you look at Roedale Mod's.

Never used Northstar but have Jet-Z, S5 and SL5.

Cant fault any of those ASE's to be honest.

Thanks lads, yeah i have one myself on a Tikka T3 Hunter and to be honest i find it very good although it is a tad weighty for it size.
Anyway i was just wondering if there were many lads using them so cheers again;)

I also have a north star moderator , The only thing that I would say against it is that because of the construction, Its makes the rifle rather front heavy which is a shame when you have a well balanced rifle.

I also have North Star on .223 and like everybody else only thing is it makes the gun front heavy
