Have had Fibre Power Ultimate(75 euro pm) for about 6 months now and was looking to cancel the TV and keep the broadband.

It says in terms and conditions "A €10 downgrade administration fee will be applied anytime you downgrade any element of your service."

Is this all I should be charged or is it more.

Would like to know before I ring them.

Your new charge would be €45 per month if you keep the phone with the broadband and there would be a €100 cancellation charge for cancelling the TV after the 30 days written notice

    Thanks Elbows22,

I was looking to get the Fibre Power Broadband 20Mb for 25.00 + standalone charge of €7.75.

    Is that not possible?

Is this €100 anywhere in their conditions page, I can't see it.

If you have the router over 3 months then no they wont take it until you cancel the broadband itself

    Cheers campo,

Hope the UPC phone line work when I try to connect to sky.

Make sure to ring sky and put an exemption on your account that you have Upc Phoneline and not Eircom/vodafone otherwise the multi room wont work :)

    Thanks Elbows22,

I'm just getting the one box hoping the UPC phoneline will work during installation otherwise there is a one off charge.

Do you know if it doesn't work when the installer comes will he cancel the install or can I just pay the one off charge there and then.

    Hi enfant terrible

How much did UPC actually charge you to cancel the TV part of your package in the end ( was it €100 as another poster mentioned:eek:),
I am thinking of doing something similar as I find the quality of UPC's tv shocking to say the least although I am very happy with their broadband , I am with them less than 12 months and I thought I had to keep all services for a full 12 months.
I was counting down the days until I could cancel the tv until I came across your post ( saorview and Freesat Hd box for me ):)

    thanks

So UPC phone line works with Sky and the multiroom?

When you say exemtion do they change something their side it works?

Thinking of dumping UPC to get Sky but if the multiroom doesnt work with UPC phone then will it be worth the hassle or cost.

My sister recently got Sky multi room installed with a UPC phone, it was with Sky in Your apartment if it makes any difference.
