    Did anyone else get their ranks reset? I switched of the ps3 for an hour to get dinner and came back on to find I had been reset from 64 to 57. And before anyone asks, no i wasnt hacking/glitching/exploting etc etc :)

    I don't have the game so I can't confirm, but my friend told me that if you dashboard then you get de-ranked.

    This is to prevent rage quitting.

    Yes, This happened to a mate last night. He was at 54, logged off and when he came back on it was down to 45 i think. Lost all the guns and other unlocks.
    The game was freezing alot when checking leaderboards so this may have led to ''dashboarding''. Never heard of it b4.

    Yeah, that happened to me too. Was level 18 when finished on Tuesday then was 14 when started yesterday. Thought i was going mad. But i had exited normally to the main menu etc. No rage involved (this time).
    So do you have to go and exit the game right back to the start screen?? :confused:

    Happened to me, I lost about 2 hours gameplay. It wasn't me dashboarding mid game but I did turn off the console, by holding xbox button on controller and selecting "turn off console". I was told that to be safe you should go all th way to MW3 menu before turning off your console, something about saving your data to the servers or something...
