    Hi,

I'm currently exempt from all of the Foundation papers and im wondering what advice would people give on sitting the professional papers from next june onwards. Would people sit 2 in June then 3 in December or 2, 2 and maybe 1 in the following June?

    Thanks!

I'd say 2 exams so then. They are hard and stressful enough without putting yourself under more pressure. Some people working only do one at a time so that will give you an idea and even the people studying on ACCA courses do max 3 at one sitting.

Do P1 and P3 at the June sitting (to avoid having exams 2 days in a row) then you can decide if you can handle 3 in December or whether you'll just do P2 and one of your options at this time leaving 1 for the following June. I'd try not to be tempted to cut back to one exam in December 2012 preferring to leave some room to do a repeat in June 2012 if needed.

Sorry folks i plan to start the professional papers after xmas and kinda moving from the ACA side of things.

Which one is the easiest to start from the 3, i like the look of Business Analysis and goverance/risk as 2 to start after the holidays. I Have my Cap 2's from my Masters and seem the same sort of level as that.

Is is hard/very hard to do 2 and work at the same time??....That is my main concern as I want to get them asap but don't want to risk failing them either and only getting 50% fees paid for.

As a qualified ACCA survivor who did two or three exams in one sitting I recommend doing 2 exams max if it's your first time.

Try and pick a "numbers" exam and a "theory" exam to do together. Working and studying is extremely challenging. The last thing you want to do is try your best at three exams only to fail all three. You'll be so demoralised :(

P1 & P2 are a good combination as some of the theory learnt for P1 can be used in the theory parts of P2

    Good luck

The problem with this is P1 is scheduled the day after P2. I did 4 exams last December and the most miserable part of the experience was having exams 3 days in a row.

I'm doing F8 this session, I thought I would have F5 as well but I got an exemption. Next session I plan on doing two exams. I'd be interested to hear people's thoughts on this too.
